On May 17, 2022, the Committee evaluating the entries submitted to the International Competition for the cultural destination brand of “The Attica Trilogy: Eleusis-Athens-Lavrion” Cultural Route held its third teleconference. The teleconference was attended by the Chair of the Committee, Ms Betty Chatzinikolaou, lawyer, tourism expert and regular member of the DIAZOMA Association, and four regular members of the Committee, namely: Mr Iosif Parsalis, CEO of the regional development organisation New Metropolitan Attica SA; Mr Prodromos Tsiavos, lawyer and member of the DIAZOMA Association Board of Directors; Mr Dimitrios Liaskos, Municipal Councilor of the Municipality of Eleusis; Ms Eleni Vlachou, Special Advisor to the Mayor of Lavreotiki; and alternate member Mr Panagiotis Tsolias, staff member of the Office of the Regional Governor of the Region of Attica.
The Committee’s work was supported by Ms Maria Sofikitou, archaeologist and Director of the DIAZOMA Association.
Having thoroughly considered all the proposals submitted by the 17 entrants during its two preceding meetings, the Committee members unanimously reached the following decisions:
At the teleconference – meeting of May 17th, Committee members voted to select which of the two proposals chosen as the best entries at the previous meetings should be awarded the First Prize.
All members unanimously voiced their preference for the first proposal submitted by Postscriptum. Therefore, it was decided that the First Prize should be awarded to the first proposal by Postscriptum, the Second Prize to the first proposal by Sputnik Design Team – Linakis.digital / Michalis Christodoulou and the Third Prize to the proposal by Mr Dimitris Tzavaras (www.deworks.co/ Visual Communication Branding Design).
The DIAZOMA Association will award the three winning entries the cash prizes of 5000 euros for the First Prize, 3000 euros for the Second Prize and 2000 euros for the Third Prize, thanks to the kind sponsorship of its Corporate Member Athens International Airport S.A.
The DIAZOMA Association and the Committee members extend their warmest thanks to all the Competition’s entrants for their dynamic and creative contributions to the Competition.
The DIAZOMA Association will notify the winning entries about the presentation of their prizes.
