Carriers Chartering established in Greece in 1980 as an independent broking house. The company has evolved into an ever expanding firm with an international scope and specializes in dry cargo chartering as well as Sale &Purchase of bulk carriers, tankers and container vessels.
Throughout the years Carriers has had great success and achieved a status as one of the prominent brokerage firms in Greece with a major presence in the global shipping market.
In addition, Carriers’ Managing Director Takis Christofides is a founding member of the Hellenic Shipbrokers Association in 1975 and President of the Greek Shipping &Shipbrokers Union from 1994 till 2003.
In 2008 and 2016 Carriers was awarded by Lloyd’s List Shipbroker of the year.
