Diazoma is a citizens’ association springing (originating) from Athens, Greece dedicated to put the love for monuments, particularly the ancient Greek theatres, into practice through a new concept of rejuvenation. Our commitment is not only to restore these sacred spaces, but to revive the true spirit of the ancient theatres as an essential part of life and treasured source of cultural and intellectual enlightenment.
Diazoma aims both to revitalize the ancient venues for spectators and audiences throughout Greece and to focus on attaining the resources necessary for their rehabilitation.
We welcome all citizens of the world to share our endeavour to safeguard these birthplaces of democratic principles and great thought, which reflect the spirit and soul of the Greeks toward inspiring unity through culture.
