September 1, 2022, is a landmark date for the development of the Reconstruction of Northern Evia programme, marking the convergence of two paths:
Not a moment has been wasted between the assumption of the great responsibility for the island’s reconstruction and the approval of the Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) for Northern Evia. As a result, we have the pleasure of announcing:
Α) The approval of the Regional Operational Programme of Central Greece.
Β) The completion of all studies and their operational delivery, which will last until September 30, 2022.
In the interim, a dynamic Public Consultation process took place with successive events in Northern Evia and digitally through the EVOIA META (ΕΥΒΟΙΑ ΜΕΤΑ) website, which took society’s pulse and ensured its place at the heart of the programme. This resulted in the first list of 127 projects and actions, which will be finalised by December 3. By that date, the Reconstruction of Northern Evia Programme is expected to have been approved by the competent national and European authorities.
